WattVerdict provides independent information about plug-in solar products and the UK market, including product comparisons, manufacturer and retailer information, compliance tracking, prices, availability and results from our own real-world testing.
By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, you should not rely on or use the website.
ACCURACY & CHANGES
The market can change quickly.
We take reasonable care to keep WattVerdict accurate and useful. However, product specifications, prices, stock availability, retailer information, manufacturer information, regulatory requirements and other market data can change after we have checked or published them.
Where a purchase, installation or other decision depends on current information, you should check the relevant details with the manufacturer, retailer, network operator or other appropriate source before proceeding. If we become aware of a material error, we aim to correct it.
COMPLIANCE INFORMATION
Tracking compliance is not the same as certifying a product.

REAL-WORLD TESTING
Our tests show what happened under our test conditions.
WattVerdict’s 14-day tests are designed to provide useful real-world performance data in UK conditions. They are not laboratory certification tests and should not be interpreted as guaranteeing the performance of another unit, installation, location or period of use.
Solar generation is affected by factors including weather, irradiance, orientation, shading, temperature, installation and equipment configuration. Our published methodology explains how we collect and contextualise our test data.
PRICES & RETAILERS

Prices and availability shown on WattVerdict are intended to help users compare the market. We aim to present the information available to us accurately, but retailers may change prices, promotions, delivery charges, stock or product details after our latest check.
The price and terms displayed by the retailer at the point of purchase are the ones that apply to your transaction. Unless WattVerdict expressly states otherwise, purchases made through external retailers are contracts between you and that retailer, not WattVerdict.
